Announcement of the international symposium of the ISBS 2025 Kyoto “The Future of Well-being”

We are pleased to inform that we will hold the international symposium “The Future of Well-being” on the afternoon of February 7 as part of the ISBS 2025 Kyoto (The 2nd conference of the International Society for Bhutan Studies).
This international symposium will focus on the concept “well-being,” which plays a central role in the politics, economy, and culture of contemporary Bhutanese society. Dasho Dr. Karma Ura and Professor Sabina Alkire, two leading scholars in current Bhutanese and well-being studies, will have insightful talks concerning well-being and its future.
